CREDO recognizes both alcohol and chemical
dependence as treatable diseases. These addictions are chronic,
progressive, and predictable in their devastation. We believe that with
proper diagnosis and treatment, these addictions can be arrested.
Credo provides a variety of levels of residential treatment to meet the
needs of clients at many stages of recovery. The continuum of residential
care is provided within 4 sites, encompassing services from intensive,
highly structured long term programming to a community based supportive
environment encouraging independence and personal recovery. The most
appropriate level of care is sought for each individual entering the system
depending on the needs of an individual, prior treatment experiences, status
of sobriety, etc.
The Credo Community Center's residential services are located at
4 sites in and around the Watertown area. Men and women served at separate
residences, ages 16 and up. They hail from communities and
counties across New York state.
